Riverside Military Academy is an private, college preparatory, boarding and day school for boys in grades 7 though 12. Riverside's 206 acre campus is located on Lake Sydney Lanier at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Gainesville, Georgia, USA. Riverside Military Academy is a non-deomoninational school that emphasizes Christian values and focuses on preparing young men for success in college as well as in life.
It was chartered August 23, 1906, and construction on the academy began in 1907 with plans to open the school that fall. However, due to construction delays, the school did not open until September 1908.
