Hello, I am a senior high school student.  On this postcard is one of the most famous night markets. Night markets are often seen in Taiwan and very popular.   You can enjoy them fully with various kinds of foods, cloths, shoes and even pets.  All of these are very cheap.

This postcard was postmarked in 2019.

Dragon and Tiger Pagodas are located in Kaohsiung in Taiwan.  Tourists can get into them from the Dragon's mouth and come out from the Tiger's mouth.  Also, tourists can get to the seventh floors and see the beautiful scenery.

Taiwan - Taipei, Movie Screen Postcard

I don't usually post what the people write, but here I had no choice.  This is the front of the card, the other side has my address and the stamps.

This is the first Screen Postcard I've ever scene, and I LOVE IT!!!  The photo of Taipei 101 is on a cell, like for movies and is glued inside the cardboard to make the postcard. There is also a pull out stand incase you want to sit the card up on a desk.  This postcard made it from Taiwan to the USA with with only a few minor bends and scratches in 2009.

This postcard is Taipei 101 on December 31.  It means New Year time.  People in Taiwan also celebrate the coming of the new year gathering together to count down to fireworks!

The Cihu Presidential Burial Place, or Cihu Mausoleum is the temporary resting place of President Chiang Kai-shek. It is located in Taiwan Province, Republic of China. When Chiang Kai-shek died in 1975, he was never buried in the traditional Chinese fashion but entombed in a black marble sarcophagus since he expressed the wish to be eventually buried in his native Fenghua in Zhejiang province once the Kuomintang (KMT) recovered mainland China from the Communists.

Jiufen is a mountain area in the Ruifang District of New Taipei City.

During the first years of the Qing Dynasty, the village here housed nine families, thus the village would request "nine portions" every time shipments arrived from town. Later Jiufen ("nine portions" in Chinese) would become the name of the village.
