Inhambane, also known as Terra de Boa Gente (Land of Good People), is a city located in southern Mozambique.  It is known for being surrounded by a beautiful seaside and a combination of modern and rustic historic architecture, making it a popular place for tourists.

Pretoria is the administrative capital of South Africa. It is one of the country's three capital cities, serving as the seat of the administrative branch of government.

Pretoria is named after the Voortrekker leader Andries Pretorius, and within South Africa it is sometimes called the "Jacaranda City" due to the thousands of jacaranda trees planted in its streets, parks and gardens.

At first I thought she was pouring flour or something, however it is all over the ground and I see a chicken in the background.  So I'm guessing she is feeding the chickens.  However, this is just a guess.

Massawa is a city on the Red Sea coast of Eritrea.  It was the capital of Eritrea until Asmara became the capital in 1897.

Originally, according to Eritrean Tigrinya oral traditional history, there were four clans living in the Asmara area. These towns were frequently attacked by clans from the low land, until the women of each clan decided that to defeat their common enemy and preserve peace the four clans must unite. The men accepted, hence the name 'Asmara' which means "they [feminine, thus referring to the women] made them unite".

Massawa is a city in the African country of Eritrea. Massawa was the capital of the Italian Colony of Eritrea until it was moved to Asmara in 1897.

Haile Selassie I  (23 July 1892 – 27 August 1975), was Ethiopia's regent from 1916 to 1930 and Emperor from 1930 to 1974. 

He is on the stamps that are on the back of this postcard.  I wonder if this is who they were able to interview???

I tried to find on the internet if this building was still up.  I read on one site that it was gutted by fire on July 26, 2006.  Another site said it was now only used by squatters.

I read on the internet that The Mesurado Bridge, (also known as the Old Bridge) collapsed in 2006 and has since then been rebuilt.
