California - The Coachella Valley

Happy National Postcard Week 2015
From The Coachella Valley

Images are from the Local Towns of the Coachella Valley along Highway 111 - Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, and Palm Desert California.

Living in the Desert means blistering summer heats (highs reaching over 120 degrees F.) but also beautiful sunny weather running 70 degrees to 80 degrees through the heart of winter until April or May.  Palm Springs has been a historical play ground for the rich and famous with a multitude of festivals celebrating the arts, theater and film.

Our little Oasis creates a perfect atmosphere for PGA Golf, the combined number of golf courses through this stretch is well over 100 beautifully manicured greens.

This is from 'Postcards In The Attic'.
