The Joint Security Area is the only portion of the Korean Demilitarized Zone where North and South Korean forces stand face-to-face.

The Joint Security Area is used by the two Koreas for diplomatic engagements.

The Rungnado 1st of May Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea. It was completed on May 1, 1989 and is regarded as one of the largest stadiums in the world, with a capacity of 150,000.

Kim Il-sung Stadium is the name of a large association football stadium located in Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

It was built in 1926 and today the stadium is used as the home ground for the North Korea national football (soccer)l team, the North Korea women's national football (soccer) team and the Pyongyang City Sports Group.
