Statue of Liberty
For 90 years the Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World has stood on Liberty Island in New York harbor as a symbol of freedom. It also commemorates Franco-American friendship, for it was given by the people of France and designed by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi (1834-1904)
