Parmatown Mall opened as a shopping plaza in 1956 and was enclosed in the mid 1960's. The mall declined and will be developed into a shopping district called the Shoppes At Parma which will have a main-street feel and will include courtyards. Pictured is the old facade of Parmatown Mall and the demolition of Macy's started on January 29, 2014.
