National Postcard Week
May 4 - 10, 2014
Euharlee Covered Bridge
A wooden lattice bridge crossing Euharlee Creek in Euharlee, GA, a small town west of Cartersville. The bridge was built in 1886 after the raging creek swept away an old bridge, killing one man. It spans 138 feet. Traffic finally stopped across the bridge in 1980 when a new two lane bridge was built. The bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is open to the public seven days a week.
Happy National Postcard Week!
