First Avenue, from 42nd to 48th Streets
Chartered in 1945 by its original 51 member countries, the United Nations complex, comprising the Secretariat, General Assembly, and Conference Buildings, was built on this 18-acre East River site by an international consortium of 14 architects (1947 - 53).
This is postmarked in 2009.
