Juicy rumors abound about efforts made by civic authorities to have the million-gallon "Peachoid" water tower near I-85 in Gaffney, South Carolina repainted. A local artist studied native peaches before applying fifty gallons of paint in twenty colors, including those used for the seven-ton leaf on the side. Now that's a big peach.
