The grounds cover 960 acres on which grow more than 600 species of flora. Handsome buildings and numerous attractive cottages add charm to the particularly inviting location.

Pritchell Hall, the main hotel, around which center all social and recreational activities of the Ridgecrest Assembly is located atop the Great Divide and overlooking Royal Gorge in the hear of the Blue ridge Mountains, Ridgecrest is the Summer Capital of Southern Baptists. The grounds cover 1100 acres on which grow more than 600 species of flora. Handsome buildings and numerous attractive cottages add charm to the particularly inviting location.

(The other Assembly is at Glorieta, New Mexico, established 1952). The grounds cover 1900 acres on which grow more than 600 species of flora. Handsome buildings and numerous attractive cottages add charm to the particularly inviting location. Ridgecrest Camp for Boys and Crestridge Camp for Girls, a part of Southern Baptist's program convenes for two five-week sessions on these same grounds.
