A real Florida treat is the electric boat cruise through the century old Cypress trees that extend far out into the waters of Cypress Gardens, and here the visitors see the fantastic gnarled cypress knees that act as breakers for the cypress trees. These cypress knees or "breakers" some times grow to a height of 6 ft. above the water and are often utilized in the manufacture of Florida novelties and costume jewelry.
