The ((victory armaments)) which Nizhny Novgorod (the former Gorkiy) region industry was producing during the Great Patriotic War are located in the Alley of Glory of Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. Gorkiy Automobile Plant mastered serial production of ((Katyusha)) since 1943. The plant of "Krasnoe Sormovo" was producing T-34 tanks, warships and submarines.
The stele to George the Victorious conquering the dragon is located in the middle of the Alley of Glory.
