The Baths were built by the Romans in the 1st century AD, which they dedicated to their own godess of healing, Minerva, and to the Celtic goddess, Sulis.
I was in Bath a couple of years ago and it was my favourite part of the holiday - apart from the family wedding :) These baths were a fascinating tour. And I think, this must be one of the better modern postcards I've seen!
