Daytona Beach Shores, Florida
The 1200 foot pier, built in 1960, was destroyed during a northeaster in 1984. The pier was rebuilt to 1000 feet and reopened in 1988. Since the reconstruction, 85 feet of pier has been destroyed due to hurricanes and storms.
