Tropicana Field, host of the 2008 World Series, opened on March 3, 1990 and is currently home to the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball. The park has a seating capacity of nearly 41,000 and is the world's only professional sports facility that features live rays. The 10,000 gallon Rays Touch Tank is located just behind the right centerfield wall and is home to over 20 cownose rays that fans can touch and feed throughout the game. Though originally built for baseball, the facility has hosted 16 other sports and competitions since its inception and is located at One Tropicana Drive in St. Petersburg, Florida.
