Greetings from Taccoa Falls, Georgia
Taccoa Falls derives its name from the Cherokee Indian word meaning beautiful. Toccoa Falls, located near Taccoa, Georgia, is on the campus of Toccoa Falls College, founded in 1907. The 186' falls is one of the highest free-falling waterfalls east of the Mississippi River.
