Serbian Solder

ŽIVOJIN LAZIĆ, srpski vojnik,  Solunac (arhiv Editions francophiles)

translation:
ŽIVOJIN LAZIĆ, a Serbian soldier, Solunac (Archive Editions francophiles)

the sender writes:
Hi Brenda, The man on this card is Zivojin Lazic who fought for Serbia in World War I.  He got the nickname Solunac many years after WWI because he fought in the Macedonian Front.  Actually, all soldiers who survived the Solunski front got the same nickname.  But Zivojin was the most popular.
