The 200 Million Year Old
REFFS of the BAY ISLANDS
Honduras
'Honduras' means 'deepwater'.  The Islands rise from the Bonacca Ridge thirty miles from the Mainland and the steep walls of this Ridge are one of the most rare and most beautifully formed reefs in the world.  Teach others to treat their fragile beauty with the respect they deserve.  Guard them from trophy hunters and all pollution and feel privileged to have experienced that which future generations will also enjoy and will thank YOU for preserving.

Some of the coral listed are:
Common Seafan, Sea Plume, Giant Brain, Pillar, Knobby Brain, Cavernous Star, Green Cactus, Smooth Star, Ribbon, Leaf, Saucer, Purple Leaf, Elkhorn, Staghorn and more.

This postcard is from 2014.
