Firelands Postcard Club

Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad Roundhouse in Norwalk, Ohio in the 1890's.  Located halfway between Cleveland and Toledo, became part of the New York Central in 1914, Penn Central in 1968 and abandoned in 1976. 

The Firelands Postcard Club meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at Erie County Senior Center in Sandusky Ohio.

Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad fueling facilities in Norwalk, Ohio in the 1880's.  Steam locomotives were still using wood for fuel when this early photograph was made.

Interurbans on Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio in 1909.  Interurbans serving Norwalk at this time were the Lake Shore Electric Railway, the Cleveland Southwestern and Columbus Railway and the Sandusky, Norwalk and Mansfield Electric Railway.
