New Tower and Cloisters, Elveden
This is a set of 11 postcards from Elveden that were given to me (with several other vintage cards). This cards reads, "New Tower and Cloisters". The tower on the postcard was built in 1922, so I am dating all the cards around that year.

Elveden is a village and civil parish in the Forest Heath district of Suffolk in eastern England. In 2005 it had a population of 270.
The village is located on the A11 between Cambridge and Norwich and experiences a high volume of traffic. Since at least the 1980s, speculative plans for a bypass have been drawn up and repeatedly shelved.
Elveden Hall is centrepiece to the large country estate of Elveden, and it is the family seat of the Earl of Iveagh.
