"A" Mountain
Tucson, Arizona
All of Tucson and the surrounding mountains can be seen from atop "A Mountain, historically known as "Sentinal Peak" where in early days Indian lookout posts were situated. Each year on "A" Day, University of Arizona freshmen whitewash the big stone "A" under the direction of hilarious upperclassmen.
